Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
- SahiBill is a bookkeeping tool. You are responsible for the bills you issue and the returns you file; SahiBill does not give tax advice and is not a government app.
- Everything is free for 7 days. After that, SahiBill Pro keeps billing going; without it you can still view, share and back up everything you entered.
- SahiBill Pro is billed by Google Play, which also handles cancellations and refunds.
- Your records are kept on your device, so back them up: if a phone is lost or browser data is cleared, we cannot bring them back.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (“terms”) are an agreement between you and Auspo Apps (“we”, “us”) for using SahiBill: the Android app (package com.auspo.invoice.maker, earlier called Invoice Maker), the web app at www.sahibillbook.in/app/, and this website (together, “SahiBill”). By installing or using SahiBill, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SahiBill.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. If you use SahiBill for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SahiBill on devices you own or control, for your own business or personal record-keeping. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer SahiBill, or copy its design or content for another product, except where that restriction is prohibited by law. SahiBill, its name, logo and content belong to Auspo Apps.
3. Your records are yours
You keep all rights to everything you enter: your business profile, parties, items, transactions and the documents SahiBill produces from them. We claim no ownership of or licence over any of it. Today these records are kept on your device and are not uploaded to us, so we cannot see, recover or restore them. SahiBill sends anonymous usage and crash data as the Privacy Policy explains; that data never contains your records.
4. Free period and SahiBill Pro
- Free period. Everything in SahiBill is free for the first 7 days, counted from when you first open it (the web app counts its own 7 days in each browser). The app shows how many free days are left. We may give extra free days, for example as a thank-you for answering a short survey.
- After the free period, adding, changing or deleting bills, payments, parties and items needs SahiBill Pro. Without it you can still open, view, share, print and export everything you entered, back it up and restore it.
- Buying Pro. SahiBill Pro is sold in the Android app through Google Play, as a subscription or a one-time purchase, as offered in the app. Google Play shows the price, in your currency and including applicable taxes, before you confirm, and takes the payment from your Google account. We never process payments or see your card, UPI or bank details.
- Renewal and cancelling. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Cancel any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. A one-time purchase does not renew.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
- New phone. Pro belongs to the Google account that bought it. On a new phone, or after reinstalling, use the same Google account and restore the purchase from the SahiBill Pro screen.
- Web app. The web app sells nothing. It turns on SahiBill Pro when you restore a backup made by an Android app that has SahiBill Pro.
- Price changes apply only to new purchases and, for subscriptions, to later renewal periods after Google Play has told you about them.
5. You are responsible for your invoices and your taxes
- You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of every invoice, bill, return, payment and stock entry you record, and for choosing the correct tax rate, HSN/SAC code, place of supply and scheme for your business.
- Reports such as GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3B, GSTR-4, profit & loss and the balance sheet are summaries of your entries, prepared for your convenience. They are not filings, they are not certified, and they may not reflect every rule that applies to you. Check them against your records and with your tax adviser before filing or relying on them.
- Tax law, rates and filing formats change. We try to keep SahiBill's defaults current, but we do not guarantee that any rate, rule or format built into it is correct or up to date for your situation. Confirm current rates on the official websites, such as gst.gov.in and cbic-gst.gov.in.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including GST registration, invoice content requirements, e-invoicing and e-way bill obligations where they apply, record-keeping periods and consumer protection rules.
- The GST calculator and other information on this website are for general guidance only.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SahiBill to:
- create invoices, receipts, credit notes or reports that are false, backdated to mislead, or intended to evade tax or deceive any person or authority;
- record the details of another person or business without a lawful basis, or send them invoices, statements or reminders they have not agreed to receive;
- interfere with SahiBill, the website or the services behind them, or try to get around the free period or SahiBill Pro;
- break any law that applies to you, or infringe anyone else's rights.
7. Backups are your responsibility
SahiBill is not a backup service. Your records are kept on your device, and they can be lost for good if:
- Android app: the phone is lost, broken or reset, or you clear the app's data or uninstall it;
- Web app: you or your browser clear the site's data, you use a private or incognito window (its data is deleted when you close it), or the browser removes stored data to free space. Safari can delete a website's stored data if you don't open it for 7 days; adding the web app to your Home Screen avoids that.
SahiBill includes backup and restore. Use it regularly and keep the backup file somewhere safe. We are not responsible for lost data.
8. Accuracy and no warranty
SahiBill is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular:
- Calculations depend on your inputs. A wrong rate, quantity, date or setting produces a wrong total. Check every document before you issue it.
- Rounding. Amounts are rounded to two decimal places and, if you enable it, totals are rounded to the nearest rupee. Small differences from other software are normal.
- GSTIN validation checks the format and checksum of a number. It does not confirm that the number is registered, active or belongs to the party you have recorded.
- Printing and sharing depend on the printer, print service, messaging app or cloud provider you choose, which we do not control.
- Availability. The web app and website may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auspo Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, or for any tax, penalty, interest or fine, arising from your use of or inability to use SahiBill or from reliance on figures it produces. Our total liability for any claim about SahiBill is limited to the amount you paid for SahiBill Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Third-party services
SahiBill Pro is sold and billed by Google Play under Google's terms. SahiBill uses Google Firebase and Mixpanel for analytics, crash reports, notifications and hosting, as the Privacy Policy explains. Where SahiBill hands a file or message to another app, printer, messaging service or cloud provider at your request, that service's own terms and privacy policy govern what happens next. We are not responsible for third-party services.
11. Changes, suspension and ending
We may update, change or discontinue SahiBill or any of its features. We may update these terms; we will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use SahiBill after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using SahiBill at any time. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms. If we discontinue SahiBill, we will try to give you notice and time to back up your records.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the place where you live. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve the issue.
