Good habits when you work offline
- Back up to a file regularly, and copy it to a cloud drive or another phone when you are online. A backup is what brings your records back if the phone is lost or changed.
- Add your UPI ID once: the QR on your receipt lets customers pay even when your own phone has no internet.
- Share the day's invoices on WhatsApp when the network returns. They are all in Activity.
Offline billing questions
Does SahiBill need internet to open or to make a bill?
No. It opens, makes bills, updates stock and shows reports without internet.
What happens to bills I make offline?
They are saved as soon as you tap Save, exactly like bills made online. There is no sync step.
Can I print without internet?
Yes. Thermal receipts print over Bluetooth, which does not use the internet.
Do GST reports work offline?
Yes. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and the other reports are worked out on the phone from your bills.
Does the computer version work offline too?
Yes, once the web app has opened on that computer.
What do I need internet for?
Sharing on WhatsApp, backing up to a cloud drive, buying SahiBill Pro and updating the app.
